五年级英语作文 My Mother’s Birthday（妈妈的生日）

Today is Monday. My father and my sisters are getting ready for a birthday party because Tuesday is my mother’s birthday. First we go to the shop and buy some new clothes. Then we go to book a very big cake. After that we go to the supermarket and buy some food and snacks. Next we go to the gift shop and buy some presents. Finally we go back home to decorate our house.

On Tuesday evening, we invite our grandma and grandpa to join the party. Then our father takes our mother to the party. ‘Happy birthday!’ We say together. `Oh! Thanks!’ Mum says very happily. Dad says:’ we bought some new clothes for you.’ After that we give our presents to her.

The big meal and cake are ready. We have a big meal and drink some cola. Mum starts to cut the birthday cake. The cake is very big and very delicious. It is a strawberry cake.

We all enjoy our meal and cake. My mother says: ‘What a nice day!’
